I have been thinking about this design for a long time. I finally decided to create this fun piece and I had a great time doing it. Can't you imagine a little witch pulling this hat topped boot around? I used lots of different embellishments including tea-stained cheese cloth, rusty bells and a star, a papier mache and wood hat, and linen string.

Oh my goodness! This is just adorable!! I found your blog via my mom's blog (DianeKnottsMusings.blogspot.com) and love your work. I'll be back!
Martha, I just took a peek at your Etsy shop and almost everything is gone!!! No surprises! I love all that you paint. I hope you are having a wonderful end-of-summer.
Blessings,
Diane
PS: We were adding some shelves to my studio today and your sweet 3-drawer, slant-top little cupboard still has a place of honor in the corner on my workspace! :-)
Thanks everyone for your heartwarming comments!
Holly, I am so glad you found me and I have found you!!! Now the three of us (including your dear mother) can form a "mutual admiration society"!!! :o)
XXXOOO to everyone!
